Trial Opening of the Study Areas in the New Library Location

Dear WKU patrons,

The WKU Library is thrilled to announce that the trial opening of the study areas of our new library location is happening!

The new library location is in the Student Learning and Activity Center (SLAC). The study areas (Floor B1 to Floor 4 for now) will be open first for trial starting from March 16, 2023. Please be aware that the building is currently undergoing interior construction in order to reach its final state. As a result, some infrastructure, such as devices and equipment, are still being installed or undergoing testing. Therefore, please enter and exit only with the Southern Gate of SLAC and take the public grand stairs. The trial opening hours are from 08:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday. Do not move furniture from original places. Please talk to our staff at SLAC Library Service Desk on Floor Three when needed.

Our Library Service Desk, print book collection room, and 24/7 study rooms in GEH remains functional until the formal relocation.

So, mark your calendar, come and check out our new space, especially graduating students!
