Introduction to English academic book publishing
Whether you’re a student interested in academic writing or a professor with a wealth of knowledge, there should always be curiosity and questions in the field of academic book publishing. In this lecture, we will explore the mysteries of book writing and publication and answer your questions about book submission and publication. The library has invited a book publisher from Taylor & Francis to give this lecture to answer your questions in the field of academic book publishing.

Speakers: Lian SUN, Lin YE
Lian SUN, as a book publisher of Taylor & Francis, has two decades of experience in professional and academic publishing in various roles including editorial, rights licensing, and business development for state-owned and global companies. She leads the publishing programs in emerging markets, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with top publishers and academic institutions in China. She leads an editorial team to acquire and publish English research content in the humanities, social sciences, sciences, technology and engineering for international audiences. She is committed to promoting the global exchange of researchers and open-access publishing.
Lin YE, as the book sales manager of the Taylor & Francis China office, has over 20 years of experience in the import academic books business. He also has knowledge of the book importation process and the domestic academic book market. He has a stable and good cooperative relationship with universities libraries and research institutions.
