We are honored to have invited Dr. Yang Mansha, the Senior Researcher of Shenzhen CSMAR Data Technology Co., Ltd., to deliver a lecture on the theme of CSMAR Frontier Observations·Scientific Research Application of CSMAR Database.
Dr. Yang Mansha will Introduce the latest data resources and new features of the CSMAR database, explaining how to use CSMAR for empirical research innovation with the combination of recent cutting-edge empirical examples from authoritative journals at home and abroad (including Economic Research Journal, Management World, Journal of Financial Research, Accounting Research, JF, JFE, JCF, etc.), and assisting teachers and students in using the CSMAR data platform more efficiently in teaching and research work.
CSMAR
CSMAR database is the first domestic economic and financial database developed by Shenzhen CSMAR Data Technology Co., Ltd. based on the needs of academic research, drawing on professional standards from internationally renowned databases such as the University of Chicago CRSP, S&P Compustat, New York Stock Exchange TAQ, ISDA, Thomson, GSI Online, and combining with the actual situation in China. The database covers 19 major series, including character characteristics, banking research, stock market and company research, which includes over 200 databases, more than 4,000 files, and over 60,000 fields. The constantly enriching database content is only for the research needs of scholars.
With over 20 years of technology accumulation, CSMAR has continuously optimized its R&D and design process, upgraded its intelligent data collection tools and quality inspection system with the central database as the core, and formed a standardized, professional, logically rigorous, interconnected, complete, and mature database development system.

Yang Mansha, the Senior Researcher of Shenzhen CSMAR Data Technology Co., Ltd.. She graduated with a PhD in Economics from China Agricultural University, with research areas including industrial economics, resource and environmental economics, behavioral economics, and public economics. She also published multiple papers in SSCI, SCI international journals such as China Agricultural Economic Review, as well as domestic core journals.
