Trial of Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals
The WKU Library has launched the trial access to Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals, provided by two different vendors ProQuest (expires on 11/11/2019) and EBSCOhost (expires on 11/30/2019). They are also listed on the Library’s Database A-Z page alongside other valuable databases. The Library encourages our faculty and students to try on both platforms and help the Library decide which one to be subscribed after the trial.
The Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals has been lauded as the single most important bibliographical research tool available worldwide for research in architecture, urban design, historic preservation, urban planning, interior design, and landscape architecture. The records in the Index database traces back to 1745 and is updated weekly, covering over 400 current journals, 1,000 retrospective periodicals, and over 585,000 articles.
