2020 Sino-Foreign University Library Annual Conference Call for Proposals
The sixth Conference of Sino-Foreign University Library Annual Conference will be held at Wenzhou-Kean University, Wenzhou, China from April 1st to April 2nd in 2020.
Themed as Challenge | Innovation | Development, the conference continues to serve as a stage for all of us to enlighten the future development of Sino-Foreign University Libraries.
The Conference Planning Committee would like to invite you to contribute to the conference. We encourage collaborations in library or among libraries to submit proposals of presentations and workshops to the Conference Planning Committee.
The topics include but not limited to:
Presentations (20 minutes for panel, 30 minutes, and 60 minutes)
- Library Services Marketing & Promotion
- Library Space Design, Space Use Innovation, Management Strategy
- Digital Repository, Digital Archiving, Digital Curation
- Data Science, Data Visualization Project, Data Management and Repository
- Open Access, Open Educational Resources, Textbook Strategy
- Cooperation on Acquisitions, Resources Sharing, and other Services
- Information Behavior Analysis, User Studies
- Educational Technology, Instructional Technology
Workshops (2.5 Hours)
- Creation and Promotion of Online Instructional Objects
- Library Event Planning and Hosting for Reading Promotion
- Development of Library Services to Support Teaching, Learning, and Research
- Data Science, Data Visualization, Text Mining, and Web Scraping
- Metadata Strategies for Datasets/Data Repositories
The proposal should include basic information: Title, Presenter(s), Type and Length (Presentation or Workshop), and an Abstract with maximum 500 words. Please send your proposal to the Conference Planning Committee via 2020libconf@wku.edu.cn by December 1st, 2019.
