WKU Presented at Sino-Foreign University Library Annual Conference
The 2021 Sino-foreign University Library Annual Conference was successfully held at Shenzhen MSU-BIT University from April 28th to 29th. Library colleagues from nine Sino-foreign university libraries and guests from book publishers, including Elsevier, Wiley, and Princeton University Press, gathered in Shenzhen to celebrate the annual event.
A total of 22 library colleagues gave presentations at the Conference. The presentations covered a wide range of topics, including strategic management, information platform construction, library interior design, brand building, and other aspects of library science.

Six colleagues from WKU Library attended the Conference, and three of them gave presentations. DONG Shuai delivered a speech, “SLAC – New Library of WKU,” introducing the construction of the new library facility and the display of its functional areas.

ZHOU Shuxian gave a speech, “Stories Behind WIRE – Institutional Repository.” WIRE is one of the few platforms developed independently and integrated with research information systems, attracting the attention of library colleagues.

LIAO Qijia delivered a speech, “When MBA Meets Library Science,” to describe the application of theoretical models of management science to the daily operation of academic libraries.
