Success of Library Book Fair 2021
Wenzhou-Kean University (WKU) Library Book Fair 2021 was successfully held on-site and online from May 18 to May 21, 2021. During the four-day book fair, over 6,000 titles were provided by renowned academic publishers, including Princeton University Press, Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Sage Publications, Springer, Wiley, Elsevier, etc. A total of 2,183 books were selected by faculty, staff, and students. Among the selected books, the top three subjects are Art & Architecture Design, Mathematics, and Management.
WKU Library aims to offer outstanding support for world-class higher education. The Library has strived to collect quality scholarly resources to support the needs of teaching, learning, and research at WKU. The print collection will gradually increase to 240,000 volumes of imported materials from abroad. Meanwhile, the Library has also started the development of resources and services for digital scholarships, getting ready to adapt to the rapid change of virtual and hybrid teaching and learning.
