Innovation of CSMAR database and empirical research online lecture
CSMAR database is the first domestic economic and financial database developed by Shenzhen CSMAR Data Technology Co., Ltd. based on the needs of academic research drawing from the University of Chicago CRSP, S&P Compustat, TAQ, ISDA Thomson, GSI Online, and combining with China’s actual national conditions in China. The database covers 19 series of self-research data and cooperation data, such as character characteristics, bank research, stock market and company research, including 200 + databases, more than 4,000 tables and more than 50,000 fields. The database content is only to meet the research needs of scholars.

Speaker:
Mansha Yang
Senior Researcher of Shenzhen CSMAR Data Technology Co., LTD.
She graduated from China Agricultural University with a PhD in economics. Her research fields include industrial economics, resource and environmental economics, behavioral economics, and public economics. She has published several papers in China Agricultural Economic Review and other SSCl and SCI international journals as well as domestic core journals.

The lecture mainly includes the following aspects:
(1) Introduction to CSMAR database: database overview and basic operation guidelines
(2) CSMAR and empirical research innovation: discuss how to combine CSMAR with innovation on research topics, literature review, research data and empirical analysis
(3) CSMAR latest data resources
