Emerald was founded in 1967 by 50 scholars from Bradford University Business School, one of the world's top 100 business schools. Emerald mainly publishes academic journals, research books, and teaching cases. Emerald has a large author and editorial team composed of over 26,000 experts and scholars from the top 200 universities worldwide.

WKU Library has purchased Emerald eBook, Emerald eCase collection and Emerald eJournals for all WKUers to use.
