Lecture| From a Scientific Editor’s Perspective: Scientific Writing and Standards
Hello everyone!
In the process of writing scientific and technological research papers, researchers may encounter various challenges. Whether it’s how to present scientific logic clearly, how to succinctly express scientific thinking and data analysis, or how to make the expression more precise… these may be part of the problems researchers face during a project.
WKU Library and Wiley have prepared a special lecture: “From a Scientific Editor’s Perspective: Scientific Writing and Standards”. This will be an in-depth learning experience. The lecturer will lead participants to master the essence of scientific and technological paper writing, making the papers more outstanding.
In this lecture, the lecturer will share how to:
- Deconstruct the basic structure of scientific and technological papers, including the introduction, methods, results, discussion, and conclusion sections.
- Reveal the importance of each section and how to use writing skills cleverly.
- Discuss common errors and irregularities in scientific and technological papers and provide practical improvement strategies.
- Share methods and resources to improve paper writing levels, such as reading excellent papers regularly, participating in writing workshops, etc.
This lecture aims to make writing scientific and technological papers not only to convey innovative ideas and research motives clearly, but also to leave a deep impression on readers. Come and improve scientific and technological paper writing skills!
