Green Guardianship Plan | Adopt Your Green Companion
Did you know? In the tranquil space of the library, besides the sound of turning book pages, there is another group of “silent scholars”. They absorb carbon dioxide with their leaves and maintain ecological balance using their leaves. Like loyal guardians, they not only purify the air but also gently protect our eyes, accompanying our study and research.
On 2025 Tree-Planting Day, as the season of lush greenery and the awakening of all things arrives, WKU library, in collaboration with the Student Committee on Sustainability, is launching the “Green Guardianship Plan”. We invite you to become a “Green Plant Friend” in the library. Between your studies, you can personally care for a touch of greenery, offering love and companionship to the plants. In the collision of the fragrance of books and the earth, explore various solutions for sustainable living and help create a more harmonious learning space together!
