Brief introduction of WKU Library
Wenzhou-Kean University Library, as a crucial academic resource center for Wenzhou-Kean University, is dedicated to facilitating academic progress, disseminating diverse cultures, stimulating innovative thinking, and empowering new knowledge through resources, programs, spaces, and services. The Library's construction commenced in 2012, and by the end of 2023, WKU Library encompasses several library areas, such as the Student Learning and Activity Center Library, the Ge He Kai Design Library, and the Chen Tianlong Art Museum, with a total area of approximately 20,000 square meters. After an in-depth understanding of the development trend of libraries and the needs of faculty and students, the WKU Library meticulously creates functional spaces with the aim of providing users with a comprehensive platform integrating learning, communication, and growth.

Library Resources
Wenzhou-Kean University Library maintains an extensive collection of over 100,000 print volumes, including 102 Chinese periodicals and 117 foreign-language periodicals, with foreign-language materials accounting for 73 percent of the physical collection. Through our resource-sharing partnership with Kean University Library in the United States, we provide access to more than 340 subject-specific databases, over 2.3 million e-books, 196,000 electronic government reports, and 50,000 electronic journals, offering comprehensive support for our university's academic endeavors.

Request books in advance for immediate pickup upon arrival, saving time in locating materials.

Request electronic journal articles or book chapters not held in our collection through either the official website form or directly from Discover search results.

We offer personalized research support to enhance your academic work, including information literacy training, subject-specific guidance, and scholarly research assistance.

Library Code of Conduct
- When entering the WKU Library, patrons must follow library policies and treat all staff and patrons in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Library patrons must exhibit behaviors that promote a safe, quiet, and comfortable environment for all patrons. Loud talking, eating, phoning, and smoking are strictly prohibited.
- Library patrons are not allowed to occupy seats by leaving personal belongings unattended.
- Report safety concerns, theft or vandalism to Library staff or WKU security immediately.
- Be respectful to Library's literature resources and public facilities. Do not tear or paint on books and periodicals. Graffiti on desks, chairs, and walls are not tolerated.
- Help the Library keep a clean environment by placing trash and recyclables in the proper receptacles.
