Recommendation Methods
01 Fill Out the Online Form
Step 1:
Open a browser and visit the library’s official website. Enter the following interface.
Step 2:
On the opened page, click on “Service”, select “Recommend a Book”, and enter the “Recommend a Book for Acquisition Form” page.
Step 3:
On the "Recommend a Book for Acquisition Form" page, fill in the information as required.
Basic Information:
Name (Required)
Email Address (Required)
Status (Required)
Resource Information:
Authors (required)
Title (required)
ISBN (required)
Publisher & Where & When published (required)
After confirming the information is correct, click the "Submit" button.
02 Participate in Library Book Fairs
WKU Library regularly hosts book fairs where you can participate and recommend your favorite books to the Library to collect.
Each book fair is a feast of knowledge, with every recommendation carrying a love for reading. Look forward to the upcoming Book Fair, where we'll meet to explore the wonders of the book world. Stay tuned to the library's official WeChat account for event details.
Notes
- Before recommending, please check whether the material is accessible in the Library. In principle, a book already in the library collection will not be reordered.
- The Library will comprehensively consider whether to adopt patrons' recommendations based on the selection principles, the annual resource construction plan, funding conditions, etc.
- To ensure accurate procurement, please provide the ISBN, book title, author, publisher, and other necessary recommendation details.
- Please understand that some books may be unavailable due to out-of-stock situations at publishers or disrupted supply chains.
