Notice | Library Launches Access to Multiple E-Textbook Databases on itext platform

Dear WKUers,

We are pleased to announce that WKU Library has officially activated access to the itext (Ai Jiao Cai) digital textbook Platform.

The itext platform offers a curated collection of high-quality electronic textbooks from leading international publishers. All titles have been jointly selected by the 12 Foreign Teaching Materials Center member libraries of China Education Ministry, with the goal of providing authoritative, systematic, and high-caliber teaching and reference materials for universities, research institutes, and academic communities.

Through this launch, our library has now provided access to more than 8,000 core textbooks from six major publishers, spanning disciplines including science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, economics and management, humanities, education, architecture, and design. All resources are hosted on the itext platform with localized access support, enabling seamless online reading and downloading for efficient academic use.

We warmly encourage faculty and students to explore and make full use of these valuable resources!
