Call for Applications – WKU Library Scholarships

To recognize full-time students with outstanding academic performance and scholarly achievements, encourage students to deeply engage in the library's academic environment, actively and efficiently utilize library resources and services, the Wenzhou-Kean University (WKU) Library Scholarships are now officially open for applications. The Library Scholarship Committee sincerely invites eligible students to apply enthusiastically.

I. Scholarship Overview

This application cycle includes three scholarship programs: the Library Scholarship, the CEPIEC Scholarship, and the PUP-WKU Scholarship. All are funded by special endowment funds established by the WKU Library under the WKU Foundation (the Library Endowment Fund, the CEPIEC Endowment Fund, and the PUP Endowment Fund).Each selected student will receive a reward of RMB 3,000.

II. Application Requirements

1. Eligibility: Full-time registered students of Wenzhou-Kean University

2. Deadline: March 8, 2026 (Beijing Time, inclusive)

3. Submission Requirements: All application materials must be fully submitted in English, including the following:

Academic resume (must clearly list academic research experiences and academic honors obtained);

Kean Transcript;

Statement (briefly describe one or more of your favorite library resources/services and how they have supported your studies or research);

Relevant supporting documents (supporting materials related to academic achievements, honors and awards, research activities, etc.).

III. Application Method

2.Account Login Verification: After accessing the link page, log in using your personal Wenzhou-Kean University (WKU) account;

3.Form Filling Specifications: Once logged in, truthfully and completely fill in the relevant form contents in accordance with the on-page prompts and scholarship application requirements. Avoid missing or incorrect entries of key information;

4.Document Upload and Submission: After completing the form, upload the required supporting documents. Confirm that all information and materials are accurate, then submit your scholarship application.

IV. Evaluation Criteria

The Scholarship Committee will conduct a comprehensive review based on the following dimensions:

1.Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA), excluding scores from Chinese studies courses;

2.Certificates and achievements related to academic research activities;

3.Academic honors and various awards received during enrollment;

4.Participation in community service and performance in extracurricular activities.
