FAQs about the Application
Q1: I have submitted an application for winter graduation. Am I eligible to apply for the scholarship?
A: Eligibility is determined based on your full-time enrollment status for the entire semester, and you are not eligible to apply.
Q2: Is an official academic transcript required for the application? Can an unofficial transcript from the KeanWISE system be used?
A: Unofficial transcripts from the KeanWise system are acceptable. Access link: https://www.wku.edu.cn/en/transcript-request. For transcript-related inquiries, please contact the University Registrar’s Office via email: registrar@wku.edu.cn.
Q3: Will first-year students be disqualified if they have no academic or research experience? What is the scope of recognition for community service, honors and awards?
A: The Scholarship Committee has not established a fixed list of eligibility criteria nor a quantitative evaluation formula. Applicants are required to fully and objectively demonstrate their personal qualifications, strengths and various achievements, and submit genuine and sufficient supporting documents accordingly.
-Fill in the application truthfully according to your actual experience if you have no relevant experience – this will not result in disqualification.
-There is no fixed scope for community service/extracurricular activities, including sports competitions, public welfare organization, community service, and achievements in personal interests and skills.
-There is no explicit limitation on honors and awards; award certificates from various competitions are all acceptable for application.
