In Irish Impromptu Serenade, Professor Mieke Paulsen Bahmer and Tang Lianyi shared 5 traditional Irish Songs and Ballads to everyone. The music was selected from traditional Irish songs that were popularized from the late 19th to the mid-20th century. I Know Where I'm Going, The Rose of Tralee, Danny Boy, The Minstrel Boy, and I'm A Rover are often sung by the Irish diaspora as a way of remembering an ancestral homeland that many have never seen except in pictures and in family stories. Among these, Danny Boy has the most ancient melody, being one of the earliest Irish melodies to be recorded.

The Irish Literature Book Fair is still ongoing, and interested members of the public are welcome to continue visiting the 3rd Floor, Student Learning & Activity Center,WKU Library Entrance.
