Speaker's Biography：Dr. Jennifer Marquardt is Assistant Professor in English and Director of the Department of English, Wenzhou-Kean University. She earned her Ph.D. in English with a specialty in Fiction Writing from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a founding faculty member of Wenzhou-Kean University and has lived and worked in China since 2012. She is the author of Hard Surfaces (Threwline Press) as well as other short stories.
